salon.ie does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We set one small cookie to remember your cookie choice, and we count visits in a way that does not identify you.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your phone or computer. Some are needed to make a site work. Others follow you around the web for advertising. We only use the first kind.

Cookies on salon.ie
- Essential. One cookie that remembers whether you have seen our cookie notice. It holds no personal information and expires after 12 months.
- Visitor counts. We use privacy-friendly analytics that count page views without cookies, without following you to other sites, and without storing your IP address.
- Embedded content. Our explainer video is hosted by us and sets no cookies. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook take you to those services, which have their own cookie policies.

Cookies on your salon’s website
The websites we build for salons follow the same rules. They set essential cookies only: a sign-in cookie when a client books or manages an appointment, and a cookie that remembers whether they asked for WhatsApp reminders. If a salon chooses to embed a Google map, Google may set its own cookies.

How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Every browser has the instructions under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking essential cookies may stop online booking from working.
